First Day of Spring Training

The Colorado Rockies may have started Spring Training last Thursday, but here in the Fisk house it started today. D went to his first T-ball clinic at the Y! He was very excited to go, but then got a little scared once he got there. He was also a little confused. Why were they playing baseball in a basketball court? :) Once he warmed up to the situation and the coach got the balls out then D was ready. He is bigger then all the other kids, the only one wearing a glove, and threw farther then anyone else. Now if we can just get his social and verbal skills to catch up with his physical ones. I think t-ball is going to be a great opportunity for him to catch up socially, emotionally, and verbally. It's only when we deal with others that we learn about ourselves. Time for D to start learning! :)

We made a Baseball diamond with Duck tape in the playroom so D could practice running the bases and other fundamentals!
