I HATE my camera!

We bought our Olympus SP-500UZ 3 years ago thinking we were getting a top of the line P&S. Well maybe it was for like 3 months, but the technology and availability of better cameras at better prices soon made me realize we didn't make that great a buy. 

When we bought it, the salesman did mention that it had poor "image stability". In my naive uneducated state at the time it didn't seem like a big deal. Now that I know a little more and want my camera to be able to do more it SUCKS!

Here's some examples of the frustrating limitations of our camera!

 Low light pic but unable to keep the camera still enough. By the way this is Dean watching basketball!

used flash, the flash did stabilize the image, but totally washed it out!

I liked the way the light was coming through our curtains on to the table. Still couldn't get a nice clear picture.

seems the more light I need the worse it gets!

So now it seems that my only solution is to pray for an inflow of money. So much so that we can afford to buy a new SLR camera! :)
