I am continually amazed at how much Dean is learning and how quickly. He will go in stretches where it seems he's not learning anything and then all of a sudden he'll reveal just how much he knows. Just the other day I caught him "demonstrating" his knowledge of how the child safety locks work on our kitchen cabinets. Fortunately he is not quite strong enough to release them, but he does know how! He is also remembering the names of some of his favorite books. We can ask him to bring a certain book by name and he will go find it and bring it back. Amazing! He still likes to speak volumes in his own language complete with intonations and all. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it? :)
