Abi

Things are going much better around our house. Abi is learning to sleep more at night and is eating well. I am adjusting to two kids and keeping up the house. I have realized that what I do on a daily basis is what I have to do. So often I try to rush through my day or to do list to have "time to myself". I've come to recognize that my life isn't about my favorite TV show, a nap or time on the computer. My life is about loving and caring for my kids and husband. Therefore if things don't get done today there is always tomorrow. This attitude has helped to bring me peace and joy in my every day. The lessened pressure makes all the difference.

Dean is growing daily. He is able to walk by only holding onto one hand now and loves to "go-go" all the time. He is also navigating the stairs with ease and would spend a lot of time just going up and down them. It has helped me a lot in not having to carry him every where. He is becoming more adjusted to Abi and is facinated still by her. He especially is interested in how we burp her. Today he got brave enough to try burping her himself. He did a great job and was very gentle with her.

Tonight we gave Abi her first "tub" bath as her cord fell off last night. She seemed to like it better then Dean and in looking back at the pics we took I realize just how much she does look like Dean. Too look at her I don't see it, but when I compare similar age pictures of the two of them I totally see it. They are definitely siblings!
