Our sweet surprise boy turned two today. I am continually amazed at how different each of my children are. J is truly all boy and all two. He is an amazingly messy eater, fearless, and continually dirty. He is also my sweetest charmer. His vocabulary is expanding daily and he knows just how to say the right things while batting those big brown eyes to get whatever he wants. It is such a blessing too to see him running and walking along with D and A. It's hard to believe that just 5 months ago he couldn't walk. He now is super confident and his personality as blossomed since starting to walk. J spends most days just trying to keep up with D and A. He so wants to be "big" like them and proves this by being fiercely independent. Perhaps the thing I love best about J is his love of music. He is always commandeering his sister's cd player to listen and dance to music. He can sing Amazing Grace and the Star Spangled Banner all the way through. You can't understand all his words, but you can still tell that is what he's singing. Thank you God for blessing us with such a wonderful little boy even when we weren't expecting it!
