Snowman weather

Last night we got an amazing 4-5 inches of snow in about 2 hours. It is that wet sticky spring snow, which is perfect for making snowmen. So today I bundled up A and D and we set out to make a giant snowman. It was a lot of fun and they are both still talking about their snowman. 

Usually when I'm outside with the kids I'm counting the minutes until we go inside. My kids haven't been great about using their imagination when outside and somehow lack of sleep and other motherly ailments have seemed to kill mine. Today, however, they played and played and I built and built. The time flew by and both them and I got some much needed outdoor exercise.
