This and that...

My apologies to those of you wanting to see more pics of our newest addition. My lack of time on here is merely a reflection of my busy life now. When I do have time it seems there are always more important/pressing things to do; like clean or sleep. As my husband is engrossed in the Nuggets game right now, I do find I have some extra time to do a little blogging.

The first 2+ weeks of life with Jack have been pretty good. He's by far my smallest baby and therefore seems to have the most trouble figuring out the routine. He's still super sleepy during the day and mega alert from 1-4am. Last night we did manage to accomplish him sleeping in his bed all night long and I didn't lose any more sleep then usual. Dean and Abi are very sweet and loving with Abi being more interested in helping. I figure Jack will just have to toughen up in order to handle all the love from his siblings.

We haven't gotten out much due to lack of convenient transportation, but PTL we found a nice Honda Odyssey that we are buying this week (it's being shipped from NY). It will be so nice to be able to all go places in one car. The weather hasn't been cooperating much either for even getting out to the park or for walks. I enjoy the rain and know that it is good for our semi-arid climate, but I wish it was a warm rain. That was one of the few things I enjoyed about the weather in Tulsa. Playing in the rain is a blast as long as it's warm!

Our Memorial Day was rather sedate as there isn't much to do with 3 under 3 in bad weather. So we hung out, grilled some brats, and watched the rain fall. While my kids are precious and cute at this age, I'm really starting to look forward to them being just a tad older and taking them to fun places. I know though that I need to enjoy what I have right now too!
