Sick Days

I've been out of commission for the past week as I struggle to get over a bad head cold that I got. It probably didn't need to be this bad, but last weekend I had a "night out" and went to a concert in Denver, stayed up too late, etc, etc. While I might be tempted to regret my adventures out do to the lengthening  of my cold, I don't! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would rather live a few days shorter knowing that I've really lived then prolong my life in boredom.  I do find it a lot harder to have patience and understanding with my children, but even there God gives me grace.

We are gearing up for many changes in our lives. I will try again to potty train Dean in a couple of weeks. We're combining Dean and Abi into one bedroom. And of course getting ready for Tres. So many unknowns as far as financial/material provision, but the one thing I do KNOW is that God will some how provide as He has for the past 6 months. It's not very comfortable or easy, but our needs are met. My prayer has become lately not that God would just provide, but that He would move us into a place where we could be a blessing to others with our resources.

Baby #3 is growing well, in fact a little too well. He/she is already "measuring" ahead of schedule. Ugh! If this trend continues, we'll have some decisions to make about the best delivery option. The blessing is that baby and I are healthy!

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better and everything is going good with your pregnancy!

I always measured a little ahead with E and C but I think it's just a subsequent pregnancy thing - it usually evens out in the end!

I hope you are right, Erin. Though I measured ahead with D and he did end up being big. Hopefully it is just a subsequent pregnancy thing and not another big baby!

Thanks for the comment on my blog...you know, you can only do so much so I have decided that having a bit of a mess around the house is okay sometimes and this has really freed me up for other things. We make a mess then clean it up:-0
Hope you are doing well!
