The Thoughts of Tots

Lately I've become more and more amazed at the things my two little ones say. So cute, so profound, so telling of whom they are becoming. Here's some examples:

Saturday Kyle took the kids to run errands as they LOVE to go "bye-bye" as he was putting them in the car this is the conversation he had with Dean

Dean: Church?
Kyle: No, we're not going to church.
Dean: Grandma's house?
Kyle: No, we're not going to Grandma's house.
Dean: akljhdlkhjf;alkdkhj
Kyle: what?
Dean: Books? (meaning are we going to the library?)
Kyle: No, we're not going to the library.
long pause........
Dean: (with that look of revelation) FRIES!??!

No, I guess we don't go many places so it was easy for him to think he'd narrowed it down to the only obvious choices! Lol!

The same night as I was putting Abi to bed we went through our usual bedtime routine where I ask her what she would like to thank Jesus for in an effort to engage her little mind in prayer and not just pray over/for her. She revealed once again just how girl she is!

Mama: What would you like to thank Jesus for, Abi?
Abi: Mama
Abi: Dada
Abi: Deeeen (i.e Dean)
(she then proceeds to repeat the top three)
Mama: Anything else?
Abi: House shoes! (she actually does have a pair of "house shoes" that she wears at home, but as taken to calling all shoes "house shoes" and she loves shoes!)
