Christmas Time

We have had an enjoyable but busy last week. We've had "Christmas" with three different sides of our family and have traveled several hundred miles, but are very grateful to have so many loved ones to celebrate with. Last Saturday (the 20th) we spent the day with my step-dad's family in Westcliffe, CO and helped them put on their last Christmas Bonfire outreach to the community. They certainly went out with a bang as they broke all previous records and the fire code by cramming in almost 100 people. It was a lot of fun and Dean enjoyed using his new snow boots to go out and play in the snow.
Check out the new boots! There good up to -10 F. ( Like I'd send my two-year old out when it's that cold!)

Bundled Boy! It was really cold.

Having fun in the snow.

What child can resist tasting snow? We'll tell him later how snow is made, for now.... too cute!

The next day we traveled to Uncle Ben's house (Kyle's brother) and had Christmas with all 25 Fisks. It was crazy as usually! I think we all spend more time corralling our children (9 children under 5) then talking to each other. I propose that some year soon we all get babysitters and have an adults only party so that we can actually carry on a conversation! :) Well anyway it was a fun time and our children were blessed with many new books, toys, and clothes.

You guys do need a babysitter so you can chat....and probably just catch up with each other! SOOOO fun though! I wish Camden had some cousins his age....the closest are 10 yrs older then him....so sad! Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. Yay!
