The kids are doing well. Abi is pulling herself up and "cruising" some now and I wouldn't be surprised if she is walking by her birthday. Dean is learning letters, numbers, colors, shapes and body parts and doing really well with that. He loves to "do" puzzles and can amazingly match up all the right pieces with the right puzzle. (He likes to do multiple puzzles at a time.) Dean loves to sit on the potty and occasionally will happen to go "pee-pee", but still isn't able to hold it for very long. This past weekend, I tried to start potty training him. I would check him every 30 min and 9 times out of 10 he would be wet. Argh! I guess I'll just continue to let him sit on it as he asks and wait until his bladder is bigger or he's drinking less!
Abi and Dean play really well together, though I have to make sure that Abi doesn't "bully" or manipulate Dean. She is so aggressive and he just isn't. She's learning not to take toys from others, which I don't think she really understands yet. Dean is so sweet with her and usually just gives her whatever she wants. Speaking of his sweetness, he gets upset when we discipline Abi; usually more then she does! It's quite precious.
