They grow so fast!

It as if in just the last couple of weeks my kids have grown by leaps and bounds. Abi has gotten her first tooth and started cereal this week (pictures to come!). She does really well with it and loves to sit up and eat like the rest of us. Abi has also developed quite a personality. She is very talkative and expressive. She loves to laugh and still gets the hiccups if she laughs too hard. Abi isn't really rolling, but has figured out how to scoot herself on her back. We often find her legs stuck in the slats of her crib. I'll have to get a picture some time it's really cute. It's neat to see her began to interact with her world!

Dean has become a sponge as of late when it comes to learning. He doesn't always keep up with all his little girlfriends, but when he decides to start learning he does it with a vengence. He's been "reading" tons lately. Sometimes I'll find him in his room with only his books touched. He's learned lots of animal sounds and can identify many animals by their pictures. He also daily "reviews" his alphabet flash cards that my aunt gave him. He loves for me to sing the ABC song when we are done. Dean is doing a lot better at communicating with English words, especially when it comes to food and things he wants. We still have to work to understand him most of the time, but it is getting better. He loves to run everywhere he goes now and it's hard to believe that less then 5 months ago he couldn't even walk. Dean has developed a new bravery at the park. He will scamper up and down all the playground equipment and only occasionally look to see where I am. I goes down all the slides by himself and loves to "talk" at the other kids. Of course when they talk back he just shies away. :) I'm blown away at how quickly they change.

Each day I'm asking that God help me to remember to stop and cherish these moments as they go by far too quickly.

Here's a few recent pics of my cuties. I haven't been taking as many lately as I've been learning more about my camera and just simply playing with it. Hopefully as I get more adept I will be taking more pictures of the kids.
